                                                                                               Makawanpur Situation overview

On 25 April 2015, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal with its epicenter in Lamjung District, approximately 81 km northwest of Kathmandu. The earthquake has caused several landslides and avalanches with strong aftershocks occur-ring in the following days.

Nepal government said 16 districts were most affected by earthquake including Makawanpur district. According to the latest figures from the DHO/Rapid Response Team, 17,053 houses have been full damage(23 health facilities), 17,620 houses have been partial damage,35 people have been killed, 101people have been injured and fracture . There are different government sectors, INGOs  andNGOs and other line agencies have been involving to conduct different support service.
